Your Registered Education Savings Plan RESP may require that you provide proof of full-time status by August 1st; however, given that newly-admitted students can only register as of June , you are advised to submit a copy of your acceptance letter directly to your RESP provider so they can start processing your claim. Once you have registered full-time, please refer to the RESP page for the next steps.
A late registration fee will apply. Any student who does not register continuously will be withdrawn from the University as of their first unregistered term. To resume their studies, the student must then submit a request for readmission. Registration for new and returning graduate students opens on March 11, via Minerva for the Summer term.
At the end of May, a reminder will be sent to new students who have not completed the tutorial with a warning that a hold will be placed on their record at the beginning of July.
When the tutorial is completed, the hold is automatically be lifted.
