Is it possible to drive yourself crazy




















Post deleted by staff 9 years ago. I do it all the time! You are your thoughts. Have you ever heard of a somatic disorder? There have been cases of people obsessively wanting a baby and the brain ends up tricking the body into showing all signs of pregnancy minus the baby.

Yes you can think yourself crazy and yes you can change your thought content and the way you view situations and return to what would be considered normal thought process.

Drink a lot of coffee. Never exercise if you can help it. Never let others know how you feel or what you want. If you assume this, you stand a good chance of feeling deprived. Never trust anyone, particularly a counselor. Struggle with problems alone. If you feel the urge to confide in someone who seems to care, remind yourself that people are basically no good and are out only for themselves. Convince yourself that asking for help is a sign of weakness and that you can tough it out alone.

Never take a vacation. Is there any problem that you all would not be able to solve? The willingness to admit that we are all human, and to forgive sincerely, is a sign of your emotional strength and maturity. Ultimately, this forgiveness is for you. It sets you free.
