The property was supposed to accommodate 8 people but had only one toilet which was very old and one small vanity basin which is totally impractical and is situated in full view of the rest of the house.
There is a half bath with a shower over, which is not thermostatically controlled and was extremely dangerous leading to quick and interrupted showers. We just managed with 4 of us any more would have been impossible. As some items were also broken, we reported these to the agent along with our observations. The agent informed us that the owners were going to renovate in the new year but they had bookings for the whole season hopefully some of you will read this!
The broken items were replaced but there was no attempt to send anyone to clean and we were left with the impression that we would have to make do. Great surfing, fishing, and with Wallis Lake nearby, there is plenty to do. Short 15 min drive to Forster, good local shops and restaurants 2 mins away.

We stayed at a house called McEwan House, in a great location right near the beach. Unfortunately, that was the best thing about the place booked through Pacific Palms Real Estate website, all looked fine online.

If it's blowing from the east, you can head to the surrounding beaches like Blueys , Elizabeth, Celito, Sandbar and Seven Mile. They all face different directiosn so the surf can be a wash at one beach and perfent at the next. Pacific Palms is famous for it's beaches and national parks stutted with palm forests.
Staying at a beach house like Boomers is the icing on the cake when you can watch the surf from the house. John R Sydney, Australia contributions. Another great find, this was a relaxing venue to conduct a conference, but would suit the holiday maker. The rooms, or villas were clean tidy, well equipped and very comfortable. Oh my god. Me and my friends just visited Boomerang Beach and found it totally amazing. We stayed at Pacific Sands which was really cool but the best thing was the beach and surrounding area.
With a few more things to do at night we think this is the new Byron Bay. It's off the main road North and South which keeps it a secret! Wow what a great area in Australia!!
